MIAMI

Miami - Top 5 Tips

GOOD TO KNOW

THESE ARE THE 5 THINGS WE WISHED SOMEONE WOULD’VE TOLD US. IN MANY CASES IT COULD’VE SAVED TIME AND SANITY!

1. SUNDAY MEANS PARTY IN SOBE

Beach parties. Pool parties. In Miami, Sunday is a party day. First on the list is a fantastic brunch.

2. SUNSET COCTAILS

The Miami sunset is magical. It also happens to be the signal to the crowds that the nightlife is ready to begin. One of the best places to watch the sun go down is The Sunset Lounge at the Morgan’s Group newest South Beach hot spot The Mondrian South.

3. EXPLORE LINCOLN ROAD

Lincoln Road is a South Beach landmark in itself. Lining this pedestrian street are boutique shops, cool cafes, hot new restaurants, hip lounges and a few wild bars. Our suggestion is to hit this street in the day for lunch, shopping and maybe a stop at Ghirardelli for a scoop of ice cream. Then come back at night for an al fresco dinner and some of the best people watching in SoBe

4. GET ON THE GUEST LIST

Clubs in Miami are tricky. The velvet ropes, and “face control police” are everywhere. Since Miami is filled with hard bodied locals, celebrities and 6 foot Brazilian models, passing the ropes may not be an easy task. Our suggestion is to get on the guest list ahead of time via Facebook or by consulting your concierge. If you have a group, you may want to book a table and buy a bottle for better drink service!

5. LITTLE HAVANA

Little Havana consists of about 10 blocks in SW 8th Street in Downtown Miami, where there are shops, restaurants, bars that are mostly Cuban. Have lunch at Versailles. When you walk around during the daytime, you'll feel as if you are actually walking the streets of Cuba. Of course you must visit a cigar factory and drink a little shot of cafe Cubano. There’s also a little park where people come to play dominos!
